Parking permits up 20%

Parking fees will rise from £99 to £119 after a meeting of the Cabinet this thursday, as this agenda paper due to be rubber stamped makes clear.

You didn't hear about that in H&F News - whyever could that be?!

    I wonder if you know about the current battle by local residents in zone J where there is a parking consultation review underway. There are at leat 3 different groups of residents leafleting letter boxes, cars and posters on trees. Some want more controls to stop the chaos around match days and westfiled spill over and others want to protect the weekend free parking for their visitors. Reading the comments on teh H&F consultation you can see that the residents are really very passionate but also very split on the the descision.
