Telegraph writer "bleats about the Bush"

"..Shepherd's Bush comes alive after dark. There is the best Thai restaurant in London, Esarn Kheaw, and the jolliest vegetarian, Blah! Blah! Blah! Adam's Cafe, in Askew Road, a greasy spoon by day, is transformed into a Moroccan bistro by night. Last time we went there we bumped into Louis de Bernieres, the author of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, a regular. There are some excellent pubs, too. In Brackenbury, the "Village", we go to the Anglesea Arms for a relaxing drink or a sumptuous feast".
So says Daniel Johnson, writing in the Telegraph about the Bush in a must-read article for anyone with a passing interest in W12 - now read on..

...The eagle-eyed among you (far mroe eagle eyed than me it must be said) have spotted that this article is in fact 10 years old. The fact that it is still accurate is therefore all the more remarkable!

  1. Er - a must read article in 2002? Reference to "the new cinema in the West 12 shopping centre" kind of gives it away.
Good to see the good things havent changed in nearly 10 years though!
