On Sunday 25th September at approximately 20:30hrs a 25-year-old man was assaulted opposite the Grey House, Australia Road, White City Estate, W12.
The victim was walking to Shepherds Bush Mosque in full Islamic clothing when he was approached by three white males shouting religious insults at him then punched and dragged him to the floor. A member of the public intervened asking the males to stop. All three males stopped then walked down Australia Road towards the A40.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a West London hospital with facial injuries.
The suspects are described as three white males with English accents all approximately 45years of age.
- Suspect 1 - described as fat build wearing an orange t-shirt, khaki coloured shorts above knee length, bald with a brown beard strip that went from his lower lip to his chin and approximately F507.
- Suspect 2 - described as approximately F507, bald, fat build wearing a navy blue jumper and blue jeans.
- Suspect 3 - described as approximately F509 and of medium build.
"This was a senseless assault on someone that was simply going about his day to day business walking to the mosque. I would appeal for anyone who knows anything about the assault to come forward."
